Professional Experience
Founder of the biotech successful companies Progenika, Oncomatryx and Quimatryx in Spain, and Patia in Mexico, PhD Simón performed a successful exit of Progenika, acquired by Grifols in 2013.
PhD Simón is also the founder of Helenes Ventures, a business angel fund dedicated, together with the European Investment Fund, to investing and coaching Spanish biomedical start-ups.
With many biotechnology patents with great clinical impact and numerous scientific papers published by leading scientific journals in his knowledge area, PhD Simón collaborates as advisor with several scientific committees of both, governmental and private institutions.
